This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward thinking individual to lead on the development and establishing the Older Adult (OA) Home Treatment team in Brent. The newly funded service requires a dynamic, organised and creative leader to develop and establish the team in its first year. The OA Home treatment team has allocated Consultant time, a full time speciality doctor, a band 7 clinical lead and band 6s, band 5s and band 4s, clinical staff to create a strong and robust team. There is dedicated administrative support to the team.

You will be educated to at least degree level in health or social care with experience of working at a clinical management level in Mental Health Services. You will provide senior managerial and clinical leadership support to enable the delivery of key challenges and support the Service Manager in delivering service improvements and developments.

The focus of the role is to establish the OA Home Treatment Team by setting up local pathways and processes, building relationships with collaborating services and work to support clients in the community who are at risk of admission and in crisis. You will help drive the strategic and operational agenda for the OA Home Treatment Team and deliver our quality and financial strategies working closely with the team Consultants and Borough partners. You will be part of the senior leadership team within Older Adults Mental Health Brent which is formed of a Community Mental Health Team and a Memory Service.

We are looking for an experienced, focused individual, who is highly motivated with excellent communication and managerial skills. Community Services are becoming fast paced and rapidly changing to support the ‘Out of Hospital Care’ strategies, you will therefore need to demonstrate resilience in the ability to adapt to the changing landscape and opportunities as the service develops.

You will ensure resources are maximised and that we meet national and local priorities.

A key element of this role is to ensure that service users and carers receive an excellent service/experience.
