Summary


In HCT we know rehab matters. Join us to help continue to create opportunities for our patients and staff to excel with their rehabilitation goals.

We have a large community therapy team across a number of localities within East and North Hertfordshire who work with a variety of different patients. We are looking for a technical instructor to join our forward thinking and innovative team to continue to provide excellent rehabilitation to patients within their home environment.

The Discharge home to assess team, assess patients within the first 72 hours of discharge from hospital and provide up to 21 days rehabilitation.

The technical instructor will be supported by the physiotherapists, occupational therapists and our existing technical instructors to develop your role and skills as part of the team. The post holder will have the opportunity to support our therapy assistants to develop their role and to contribute towards their training.

Our friendly service offers support through regular supervision, appraisal, training and development opportunities.

The service runs 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm at weekends and the post holder would be expected to work a shift pattern across the 7 days.

The services cover both East and North Hertfordshire and the post holder may be expected at times to cover across all localities.

This post is full time but applicants who wish to work part time or flexibly will also be considered.

You must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a care to use regularly for business purposes are essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,034 and a maximum payment of £1,791 per annum (pro rata where applicable).
