An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join our Paediatric Ambulatory Service and Children’s Outpatients. We provide varied speciality clinics through our service including Allergy, General Paediatrics, Oncology, General Surgery, Epilepsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Child psychology, Immunisation, Enuresis and many more.
Our Children’s Out Patient department also provides outreach clinics at both Eastleigh and Andover community hospitals Main Outpatient Department.
As a team, we strive to provide an excellent service to the local community, putting children and their families at the forefront of all that we do.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is flexible, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate effective communication skills. Experience within an Outpatient setting would be advantageous. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining standards and quality in the day to day management of a busy Children’s Outpatients department. This role will enable you to gain and demonstrate clinical skills in leadership, people management and finance within the clinical environment.
Due to the many varied speciality clinics that we provide it is our responsibility to provide you opportunities to develop further skills that will enable you to extend your nursing role within the unit.
The opportunity to work on the Paediatric Assessment Unit may be considered for any suitable applicant who wishes to maintain acute clinical skills.
