Summary


Activities/Well-Being Coordinator -Lakeview Lodge Care Home, Milton Keynes-Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota
Do you have creative flare & want to make a difference everyday?
We are looking for a Wellbeing Coordinator with creative flare and out-of-the box thinking to organise, run events and activities. From pumpkin-carving, to budding gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.
What you will be doing: It’s hard to capture everything but we’ve jotted down the key parts of the role below:

Undertake fundraising activity for the Residents’ Fund. Be an active member of the Residents’ Committee for Activities


Meet targets set out to improve our resident’s lives which includes getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day’ programme


Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.

Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.


Create a timetable of events and interesting pastimes providing a structure for our residents whilst enduring there is something for all

About You
We are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, and would ensure all activities are appropriate for all residents. You will be offering a supportive and caring environment, where our fabulous residents can really enjoy their life, engage with one another, and feel part of the home and wider community.

An understanding of care sector would be advantageous Have a friendly & caring attitude Good planning & development skills Able to engage well with the residents and their families Be proactive, passionate, and supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
