We are looking to recruit a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant to work 40 hours per week at our Hub branch located within our Head Office at Lynstock House, Lynstock Way, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4SA.

The proposed shift pattern is: Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 3:30pm

This vacancy is on a permanent basis, however is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.
Cohens Hub Dispensing is a structured, production based pharmacy environment to help support the network of branches by assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) and Prescription Collection Service (PCS) medication by utilising brand new, cutting edge technology.

As a Hub Dispensing Assistant you will be given all the skills and training to work safely and effectively in a pharmacy production environment. The most appropriate training course(s) will be selected based on your role within the operation.

You will be responsible for assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our branches, with specific responsibility for providing support with the operation of technology.

Additional responsibilities will include receiving orders from the network and assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the operation.

Skills in planning, time management, attention to detail, working to targets and working under pressure are all required.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
