Summary


We are Manchester Local Care Organisation - an exciting, new public sector organisation that is bringing together NHS community health services and social care services in the city. We’re driven by the aim of improving the health of local people in Manchester by working across organisational boundaries.

The first health and social care staff have been deployed to us from April 2018 and are now starting to work in new ways across the city. Our teams work as one in the neighborhoods they serve – delivering and designing services in partnership with local people. We also provide key services that work across wider localities and city-wide. We believe that our pioneering approach will make a massive difference to the health of people in our city and we are looking for you to join our team and help us do this.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for B3 Support workers to join our new integrated Community Nursing Team in North Manchester

We have 1 full time / 37.5 hour post available

The suitable candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and be highly motivated. You should be qualified with a relevant NVQ level 3 with excellent communication skills to join our friendly and dynamic Manchester Community Nursing Service) to provide high quality and personalized nursing & therapy care to patients in their own homes.

The service by nature is busy, diverse in an ever changing environment of health and social integration. If you would like to make a positive difference we would like to hear from you. The service runs 7 days a week, varying shift patterns are available and operates between 8:00 am and 6:00pm and includes Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year.

Previous community experience is preferred; however training will be available for the suitable candidate.

The role will involve travelling to patients homes from various locations across North Manchester and you will need to demonstrate at interview how you will achieve this.

Car owner/ user essential.
