Summary


Advert – Band 7 Project Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Data Services team in NHS England and Improvement to ensure the service provided meets the expectations and needs of the analytical community.

The Project Officer will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective PMO service supporting managers and staff across the full Data Services portfolio. The Project Officer will support the senior leads and the team to ensure that their workstream of projects are planned and managed effectively, and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery. Some of the specifics include:
• Provide quality management assessment of the inputs and outputs of the Data Services objectives and transformation projects, including moving the data management service from on premise to Cloud technology
• Manage the Team’s highlight reporting function, including developing and managing the team’s business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management
• Liaise with project teams, within and external to Data Services
• Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and workforce returns in line conjunction with central PMO team requirements
• Take a lead in the coordination of training & development and recruitment activity across the Team
• Take a lead on team engagement and meetings
