Lecturer in Music Performance
Up to £36,168 per annum pro rata
35 hours per week* (up to 23 teaching hours and 12 preparation and other duties)
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional/s with ongoing and proven experience of the music industry to join our team.
You will have knowledge and proven experience of popular music performance and a passion to share your skills alongside knowledge of music theory, organising events, live performances, rehearsal and composition. Knowledge of recording software such as Logic, ProTools or Ableton is desirable.
You should have a Degree in a related area (or professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement and a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above. You may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.
Part time hours will be considered. This role is required from August 2021
