We are currently seeking a PROGRAMME MANAGER for the newly established Psychological Professions Network in London.

The key aim of the PPN is to support the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan objective to increase access to evidence based psychological therapies for people across the London region.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of a range of activities aimed at ensuring a London Psychology and Psychological Therapies workforce which is fit for purpose. This will include joining the team working to deliver an effective Psychological Professions Network for London, which will be a free membership network to support workforce development, recruitment and retention of psychologists and psychological therapists across the capital city of the UK, delivered by the HEE and its Mental Health Programmes, and supported by the Strategic Clinical Network of Clinical Psychologists in London (SCNPL), and the PPN London Board and Steering Group.

The appointed individual will have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with senior regional leaders to shape the development of the PPN. The network is well placed to bring service users, carers, providers and other stakeholders together with a real focus on patient and population benefit to improve access and involvement with the psychological professions in the capital. The Programme Manager will work with the leaders of Psychological services across all sectors and services, to identify the regional workforce needs and ensure alignment to service and education commissioning plans, NHS priorities and Professional requirements.
