Charity Graduate Internship
Location: Brighton, East Sussex BN2 4HP - Working across all campuses (initially working from home)
Salary: £18,300 per annum
Contract: Full Time, 2 years fixed term
Hours: 37 hours per week

Brighton Students' Union is an independent, vibrant charity which is run by students for students. We are looking for two Graduate Interns to join our Engagement Team who deliver a range of programs, events and support for students at the University of Brighton. The internship is a two-year, full time role (37 hours per week) where you will be provided with a range of opportunities to gain experience and develop skills that will give you a springboard for your career in the charity sector. Alongside this you will also receive a full training and personal development package including an Institute for Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 qualification in Leadership & Management and the opportunity to attend regional and national conferences.
Please note that these roles are open to anyone who graduated in 2020 or will have graduated by the Summer of 2021 and have no further academic commitments for the period of the contract. This role is NOT open to those planning to study in the 2021/2022 academic year.
Applicants will be passionate about developing a career in the charity sector and helping other people. The successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong working relationships with our students and have a keen attention for detail and an action orientated approach to work.
Due to the current pandemic, the majority of BSU staff are predominately working off campus so the roles will initially be working from home. In the future, the successful candidates will work across all 4 of the University of Brighton campuses (Moulsecoomb, Falmer, Eastbourne & City Campus).
Travelling between sites will be required and reasonable travelling expenses will be covered for any travel to campuses that aren't your primary base.
