Era Care Ltd, provides specialist residential care for young people aged 11-18 years old, with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

You will be working within our devoted, professional and diverse teams of Specialist Directors, Registered Managers and Psychotherapists, as well as external professionals from the Social Care, Education and Health sectors, to provide holistic and tailored care for our young people.

We offer you a varied and challenging role, with the opportunity to find your talents and develop you career, through our extensive training programme and professional qualifications.

All applicants must have a valid full manual UK/EU driving licence and be over the age of 21 (in accordance with The Children’s Homes England Regulations 2015).

All shifts are 24½ hours as follows: starting at 10.00am until 23.00pm, sleep-in the home from 23.00pm until 08.00am, then back on duty 8.00am until 10.30am. Days of work can vary from week to week and will include weekends, bank holidays and Christmas etc.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

We are ideally seeking experienced Residential Childcare Workers, with QCF/NVQ3 to join our teams, in continuing to provide happy, creative, trusting and supportive homes for our young people and employees to thrive in. However, if you have a genuine passion for working with young people and a desire to learn, we can give you the full training to succeed.

All interviews are held at our Head Office in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Interviews take approximately 2 hours and include a 20 minutes literacy and numeracy assessment.
