Substantive Consultantin Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a Special Interest in Maternal Medicine

It is expected that the successful candidate will be working across all 3 sites. The total number of deliveries is 7500 per annum. This appointment will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of service for the 2003 consultant contract (England).

Both hospitals; Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke have fully equipped obstetric and midwifery led birthing units and fetal medicine scanning and high risk obstetric services.

The standard job plan is of 10 programmed activities (PA’s) including a 1 in 12 on call rota covering Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Peterborough City Hospital.

The post is mainly based at Peterborough City Hospital but cross site working at Stamford and Hinchingbrooke will be expected.
