Are you an experienced mental health practitioner looking to work in a busy, fast paced environment?

Would you like to work with a large multi-disciplinary team who help to care for over 120,000 patients per year?

The Emergency Department at NNUH is seeking to recruit highly dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants for Mental Health. Our Emergency Department is the busiest in the East of England which means no two days are the same.

This role is key in continuing our #JourneytoOutstanding and ensuring that patients are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an individual with excellent communication skills who is capable of providing the highest possible standard of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience working in a Care/Nursing assistant role
• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Care/Health and Social Care or the equivalent experience
• Some previous experience in mental health specific care role / working with people with complex mental health needs
• Great communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure/in a fast paced environment

Please note our rotas cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service. You will rotate between days, nights and weekend working over a 12 hour shift.
