What's involved with this role:
Enhanced DBS required
An Administrator/Business Support Officer is required to join the Single Point of Access (SPA) team. SPA is the gateway for all incoming contacts into children’s services. The SPA ensures that consistent and timely responses are provided to all enquiries so that children, their families and professionals working with them receive high quality information and, where necessary, support and protection from children’s services and other agencies or professionals. Through the Multi- Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), the SPA works in partnership with the police, health and mental health, probation, and adult services to share information so that we can together provide the most appropriate response to concerns about children. With access to the electronic recording and case management systems used by social workers, early help services and youth offending services, the SPA collaborates with partners in the MASH to gather relevant locally held information.
You will support the SPA team by creating quality contacts and recording information in order for social workers and SPA management to outcome referrals.
As the Business Support Officer your role within the SPA is unique in that the role sits directly within the team, unlike other Business Support teams.
For this role you will also be required to prepare and distribute basic agendas, presentations and papers and take minutes where appropriate for meetings. Therefore, it is essential that you have previous experience of Minute Taking.
NB: If you have previously applied to one of our vacancies and have already sent the required supporting documentation to us, please make this clear when you re-apply as this will help speed up your application.
Please quote the Job Title & Vacancy Reference No. in your application, or we will be unable to match your CV to the role being applied for.
