My Role as Facilities Stores Team Member is to maintain a well-presented and optimised stores environment; to ensure that all the Maintenance, Accommodation, Siting and Grounds Teams’ work on park can be delivered in the most efficient manner possible.
My responsibilities are to maintain Stock availability across both Maintenance and Accommodation stores, allowing work in caravans and park buildings to progress quickly and allowing the teams which I support to use their skills. In addition, I will support the Grounds and Siting teams by providing processes and a best in class operation which will allow them to securely store their equipment, assisting and enabling them to deliver their roles to the best of their abilities.
I will work closely with the Facilities Management Team and Accommodation Manager(s) in planning my work however I will be responsible for the physical completion and presentation of that work. Alongside these teams, I will act as a contact for all courier deliveries on the park.
Maintenance is carried out reactively as well as being planned – my role is to maximise availability of stock to ensure that the majority of such jobs can be completed within the SLA whilst demonstrating a clear control of stock levels.
I will be responsible for developing and maintaining a process allowing the most frequently used Parts to be available, stored in a controlled and auditable (on a weekly and/or ad-hoc basis) manner. Whilst the final presentation of the vans is the responsibility of that member of the team, they should be inspired by the standards you achieve in your stores and given guidance on how to achieve the same, along with supporting them with the correct levels of stock. This will allow an accurate recording of the use of parts and stock allowing you to proactively keep the central stores orders up-to-date.

•Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
•Good understanding of supply chain procedures
•Working knowledge of inventory management software and strong computer proficiency
•Active participation in inventory audits
