We are in a position to offer the opportunity to join our existing Think Wellbeing Service within the Halton Borough.
The post holder will be required to possess an appropriate qualification to provide high intensity psychological therapies at step 3, to individuals with anxiety and depression in accordance with NICE guidelines.
The service actively fosters a friendly and supportive working / learning culture. You will benefit from regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD), training events, Clinical Supervision and Managerial Supervision..
This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred listDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £44.00, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
Provide high intensity psychological interventions for people whose needs are complex or chronic.
Provide specialist assessment, formulation and treatment, including consultation and recommendations regarding service users’ care to colleagues.
Undertake systemic measurement of clinical outcomes with service users. Work in partnership with service users to achieve the best possible care plans.
Utilise research skills for audit, research, service evaluation and service development.
Provide clinical and managerial supervision for staff who are providing High Intensity Therapy at Step 3.
Receive supervision for post holders own work.
Provide advice and support for colleagues whose background is not in Step 3 High Intensity Therapy.
From 1stJune 2021 our Cheshire and Mersey Services will transfer to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Successful candidates will therefore either commence with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust if the start date is after the transfer date. If the start date is before the transfer date your employment will TUPE transfer to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
