Summary


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Community Health Care assistant to join the District Nursing Service in Enfield. You will be an experienced carer, preferably with an NVQ 3 and experience of working in people’s own homes. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a range of health professionals and informal carers .You will be working as part of a District Nursing Team, providing high quality nursing care to patients in their own homes. ECS reflects an integrated approach that has been designed in response to the changing needs of the local population, with a special emphasis being placed on the proactive vision of care for patients in the community setting.

Previous experience of working with elderly patients in the community would be an advantage. You will be providing support and undertake agreed nursing duties under the supervision of the Registered Nurses, in addition have the ability to work independently. There will be support for you to develop and acquire valuable skills which will enable you to provide excellent care to patients whilst visiting them at home and clinic.

We offer Induction programme for new staff and encourage staff to participate in our varied development programme. You will find satisfaction in helping patients to manage their own health needs in the community and will be able to work alongside other health and social care professionals to ensure that patients in Enfield receive the best possible care.

You will need to have computer skills, although training will be provided for specific programmes.
