Summary


Croydon Community Services are currently undergoing a process of transformation of its services. The main purpose of the ​transformation is to ensure sufficient resource and capacity throughout the system to deliver a comprehensive, seamless and person-centred service to the local population in Croydon. The proposed model has incorporated an integrated approach, moving away from diagnostic based core CMHT teams to a more comprehensive, locality based offer. This post will initially be within our Treatment Pathway working with service users with Mood, Anxiety and Personality Disorders but once the transformation is complete the post will be part of a core CMHT working with service users with a full range of mental health needs.

Croydon is an integrated Health and Social Care Service working in Partnership with Croydon Local Authority. We are keen to appoint a motivated and flexible practitioner with either a nursing, occupational therapy or social work qualification who is looking for a new challenge. The newly appointed staff member will be provided with on-going structured support to enhance their knowledge and skills through individual and group supervision, an internal training programme and support from individual Professional Leads within the borough. Academic learning opportunities can also be available to staff one year post employment.
