Leicestershire remains committed to respond to children vulnerable to all forms of exploitation, we are investing in expanding our established offer within the vulnerability hub through the development of a specialised Criminal Exploitation Team. In Leicestershire we work as a partnership with our colleagues in the City and Rutland. We are hosted by Leicestershire police to promote a co located approach to tackle exploitation and the sexual abuse of children. We are closely aligned with Youth Justice, health and education.

We are looking for practitioners that will go the extra mile for children. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate an ability to recognise risk, build safety, and are innovative and flexible in their approach to establish trusted relationships with our most vulnerable children.
This role is based at Wigston Police Station and the post is subject to enhanced police vetting. Successful candidates will also be required to work one weekend a month. This is to extend our offer to children on the edge of care or those children who are at point of crisis.
We look forward to hearing from workers who recognise the complexity of the needs of our vulnerable children and wish to contribute to the development of a brand new team.
An enhanced DBS barred list check is required for this role
