We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Research Healthcare Assistant to join the Research Team to support the research portfolio at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Therefore, if you have a keen interest in, or have experience working in research/ clinical trials within the NHS and are looking for an exciting new challenge than this opportunity might be for you.
Significant experience of working within an acute healthcare or research environment is required.
This post is funded by the Clinical research Network East Midlands but the post holder will be employed on a fixed-term contract by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS foundation Trust.
Your role will be:
• To support NIHR portfolio research projects, along with clinical cover within the Research and Innovation department by carrying out a range of administrative and patient care tasks under the guidance and supervision of research nurses and study investigators.
• To undertake clinical tasks of phlebotomy, performing ECG and Cannulation
