Summary


Westminster Community Team Managers Band 8A: Queen’s Park and Paddington (QPP) CMHT and West End Primary Care Network team



We are looking for two enthusiastic professionals: one to lead our recently transformed West End Primary Care Network Team in the South Hub and the other to lead the QPP Community Mental Health team in the north of the Borough.



The post holders will have an integral role in embedding the new ways of working within each of these teams and provide effective day to day management of the team, ensuring that quality and performance standards of the team are met.



Each of the teams has an integrated health and social care team made up of the following diverse disciplines and employed by either CNWL or Westminster City Council. This group of staff range from Medical staffing, Nurses, Occupational Therapy staff, Social Care Staff, Psychology. As the successful candidate you will operationally manage this group of staff to ensure that a seamless safe and comprehensive service is delivered.

The post holder must have:

Professional Registration with significant post registration experience
Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
Robust performance management skills
Experience of multi-agency partnership working.



Ability to demonstrate resilience, able to recognise the anxieties of others and help them to manage appropriately.



Experience of undertaking appraisals and supervision within teams.


This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and confident practitioner who leads by example and has a “can do” attitude. The post holder will be able to provide leadership and expertise to a transformed team of clinicians and admin staff to ensure people with mental health needs are supported to live as valued members of society, by providing and arranging specialist healthcare and supporting access to generic health services where possible.
