Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University Hospitals Dorset (UHD), for a fixed term Senior Information Analyst to support Quality and Patient Safety information reporting.

Working as part of the UHD Business Intelligence (BI) Department, the Senior Information Analyst will play a key role delivering a high-quality information service. We are looking for a numerate logical thinker, with experience of working in a project based team environment. You will have experience of extracting and manipulating data using SQL server, able to present detailed information using excel and other reporting tools, and have an ability to transform that information into knowledge that can be used within the Hospital for decision making and assurance purposes.

We are looking to recruit full time although, flexible working will be considered for the right candidate but they will need to be a high calibre individual who will be required to work to strict deadlines, whilst still paying attention to detail and always maintaining a high level of accuracy.

This is Band 6 position - subject to Job matching

The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have now merged into the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

Base Location: Poole Hospital (but you will be required to work at Bournemouth Hospital on occasion)
