To plan, organise and take the professional lead for the function across the company and to support and ensure successful and effective leadership and management. Acquire a deep understanding of the organisations requirements and expectations of the function Design and manage the resources of the function to maximise impact and effectiveness of the function in meeting organisations requirements. Develop, communicate and have overall control of operational plans and activities to ensure the required service standards are delivered. Seek continuous improvement of these activities and plans.. Define and manage the performance of the function against performance indicators agreed with principle stakeholders Qualifications Required You will have substantial managerial experience organising and co-ordinating business support services You will also have experience of producing long term plans which satisfy business objectives. You will have extensive experience in risk management and applying these principals to services. You will be able to think and act strategically, solve problems and make decisions. You will be able to understand the organisations requirements and expectations of the function and put strategies in place to achieve these. You will have experience of designing and managing resources within the function to meet organisational requirements You will have an applied understanding of the technical issues in your service areas and departments.
