Lifetime are a team of Community Children’s Nurses, Psychologists and Support Workers working within the community for children with life limiting conditions.

We are looking for resilient, highly motivated, adaptable people who will enjoy the unique challenges of caring for children in their own homes across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area.

Lifetime work closely within multi-professional teams to support families to care for their children at home. Support workers receive comprehensive training to meet the child’s health care needs following a child’s care plan. Training and care plans are provided by a team of Community Children’s Nurses.

Previous experience in caring for children with healthcare needs is desirable, demonstrating a willingness to learn is essential.

We are currently recruiting for night shifts, which are 10pm until 7am

You will need to be fully mobile, having a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Basic levels of English and Maths (GCSE level) are required for this role. Basic IT understanding and able to communicate via email is required for this role

You will receive comprehensive training whilst undergoing competency based assessments. There are professional development opportunities for the right candidate.

The minimum contractual hours will be 18 hours per week (2 Nights) – however up to full time hours are available (27 or 36 hours).
