Year 2/3 Nursing students + experienced Health Care Assistants

Are you a nursing/medical student or experienced HCA who would like to develop their skills in one of the most fascinating, friendly and supportive NHS Trusts in London?

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and flexible candidates to join our Staff Bank. In return, we will offer you flexibility of hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive working environment within one of the most diverse areas of the country.

Successful candidates will have flexibility to plan their working pattern around current nursing/medical studies, learn more about the Homerton and gain an insight into our organisation ready for when you become a qualified nurse.

We offer shifts throughout the trust in various sites covering acute and community areas. This creates a wonderful opportunity for you to work with, and care for, patients with a variety of health conditions in surgical, medical & elderly wards.

This is your opportunity to become part of a supportive and friendly Trust which focuses on delivering high quality individual care in an exciting, but demanding environment. You will provide nursing and personal care to patients as prescribed in the individual plan of care and will be fully supervised by registered nursing staff. You will support and assist patients as required, maintaining their personal hygiene, toileting and appearance, personal grooming and dressing.

**Please note you will be required to evidence that you are a year 2/3 medical/nursing student or hold a care certificate or NVQ level 3 in health and social care as this is an expectation of the job role and the 15 standards of care must be implemented in your day to day work.**

Please note as part of the selection process you will be sent an online English test to complete. This will be a few days before your interview date, further information will follow if you are shortlisted.
