Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader / Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner to join our team in Bangor.
To assist and support the head of occupational health and wellbeing as part of a multidisciplinary team in the co-ordination, provision and delivery of an effective high quality occupational health & wellbeing service to the health board and external contracts.
The post holder will as a team leader use independent judgement to provide overall management of the nursing staff working within an identified region / team to manage day to day operation of the service.
As a delegated responsibility lead and manage on specific projects / objectives.
Work as an identified representative for the service in key meetings. Provide support and advice to groups of managers within the organisation and acts as a link practitioner for external companies on designated service contracts negotiating and securing income for the service.
Provide professional specialist occupational health and wellbeing advice to its users and will be responsible for continuing responsibility for aspects of complex and sensitive care, management and advising on sickness management and rehabilitation of clients into the work force.
In the event of significant event / outbreak of infection co-ordinate appropriate care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
