Doctors Direct has an excellent opportunity available at South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust.We are looking for middle grade and consultant level doctors to join our dedicated team offering you the opportunity to work flexibly with the first choice of shifts in Medicine, A&E, Paediatrics & Neonates, Rheumatology, Care of the Elderly, Acute Medicine, Community Paediatrics, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Paediatric A&E, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, Urology and Respiratory Medicine.
The Trust:
The Trust is responsible for acute hospital services in South Tyneside and a wide range of community health services in Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland. It is based at South Tyneside District Hospital in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, between Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland.
We have 394 general, maternity and paediatric beds, and provide a full range of general secondary care hospital services. These include cancer services, specialised medicine, rehabilitation and older people's services, children's services and women's services. We provide community services across six streams of care – Planned Care, Children & Families, Palliative Care, Intermediate Care, Mental health and Learning Disabilities and Urgent Care.
We are one of the largest employers in Hertfordshire. Our four main hospitals are:

- South Tyneside District Hospital, Tyne and Wear
- Sunderland Royal Infirmary, Tyne and Wear

Requirements:

Full GMC License to practice
