Our client is a contractor that works in the Civils , Rail and Utilities and are currently working on the HS2 project.

They are currently recruiting for Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to work on this HS2 project based out of their London Euston offices.
The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is required to ensure that all commercial aspects of the projects under their remit are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.

➢ Degree qualified, or equivalent
➢ Experience of development and implementation of procedures
➢ Civil engineering works experience, including utilities Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions
➢ Strong contractual experience
➢ Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
➢ Ability to solve problems efficiently
➢ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
➢ Ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload and meet project deadlines
➢ Evidence new ways of thinking which deliver benefits Ability to influence others
➢ High standard of knowledge in estimating and/or quantity surveying
➢ Use of Construction suite software
➢ Use of Microsoft Word, Excel

Training / Qualifications

➢ Qualified to a high standard in estimating and/or quantity surveying (Desirable)
➢ Structural or civil engineering qualification (Desirable)
➢ Current Driving Licence


➢ Three years QS experience.
