Summary

This role at Deloitte within the Consulting practice is an opportunity to join Organisation Transformation (part of the Human Capital offering), currently recruiting for individuals who feel their industry and technical skills could help us grow and develop our capabilities.
Programme Leadership is a dedicated team of high calibre project and programme management specialists. As one of the largest programme leadership capabilities in the marketplace, we are renowned for our critical involvement in our clients’ largest and most complex transformation programmes.

Responsibilities:
•Assisting with the design and development of programmes or project initiatives for Financial Services clients
•Helping solve complex problems at the core of programmes, by performing analysis, providing recommendations, and implementing controlled change
•Developing plans and critical paths through understanding the inter-dependencies between workstreams
•Progress reporting, risk management, and financial controls in relation to the programme or project initiative
•Preparing programme financial reports as part of PMO role, and undertaking financial modelling to prepare budgets and business cases
•Coaching and managing less experienced members of the team

Requirements:
•Overall your experience should include contribution to a large scale organisation transformation programme, using agile and/or waterfall approaches
•Experience of working on projects ideally in a consulting organisation, or in an internal consultant role
•Experience and knowledge of working in/with Financial Services organisations, with a keen interest in the industry and its future
•Hands-on experience assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative
•Responsibility for components of progress reporting, risk management and financial reports, as a junior project manager or part of a PMO
•Understanding and experience of project management frameworks such as PRINCE 2, Scrum, or Kanban
•Passion for continuous personal and professional development, through coaching and training
•Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
