Summary

The Rubin Clinic Sexual Health & HIV Services provide expert care on all areas of sexual health, HIV and contraception care across West and North Kent.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-motivated and efficient individual to work as part of a team covering reception and the administration office. You will be working in a friendly team, assisting to provide services for people from all ages and backgrounds with varied sexual health and contraception needs.

You will need to have excellent communication, listening and computer skills to be able to provide an optimum level of customer service. You will be dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information every day, therefore a non-judgmental attitude and strong understanding of patient confidentiality is essential. Having worked previously in a sexual health department and having knowledge of the Lilie system would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given.

The clinic reception opens from 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on a Friday. You will also be required to work one Saturday (1/2 day) a month.

Use of a vehicle would be beneficial as you may be asked to work cross site.

Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check atstandard level. (Enhanced level now includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children)
