You're a caring, compassionate nurse committed to providing the best possible care

Do you want to help deliver care to people in their own homes in the Hillingdon area and work with supportive, skilled teams while you do it?

You will be a registered nurse or student nurse soon to register who has enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering the best nursing care possible. Community experience is not essential but you will need to demonstrate that you understand the issues involved in working in people’s own homes. The service operates 7 days a week and you will be expected to work on a rota with some weekend work. Ideally you will be a car driver but if not you will need to be able to complete the allocated workload in the most efficient way possible.

In return for your commitment we will make sure you receive the support and development you need to consolidate your learning and prepare yourself for future challenges. We provide good preceptorship and supervision and a first class learning experience in all aspects of community nursing. We also make it easy for you to access continuing professional development resources which will support you to complete qualifications or modules to help you develop a clinical speciality according to the needs of the Service. CNWL is recognised locally, nationally and internationally for providing high quality, innovative healthcare. We aim to employ only the best people, and our experts are frequently called upon to contribute to national health strategy and policy, and many models of our care have been adapted for use in other countries.

The catchment area spans diverse communities, with over 100 first languages spoken. It contains areas of great affluence as well as areas of much deprivation. We are committed to providing services that meet the needs of the people who use them, and we actively encourage involvement from local people who can help make a difference

It is our aim to recruit the best nurses so that we can continue to develop and provide the best patient care. Candidates who are shortlisted for any band 5 position in the trust will be invited to attend an assessment and interview on the same day. Only candidates who pass the numeracy and literacy assessment will be asked to progress to an interview.

Full and Part Positions available.
