We are currently recruiting for a Yard Co-ordinator to join our Inbound Logistics team at Müller Bridgwater on a 6 month fixed term contract.

To be considered for this position you must be licensed to drive LGV Class 1 vehicles.

Your Key Tasks

- Responsible for the co-ordination of vehicles in the yard including supporting washing / cleaning.
- Support the laboratory testing, including swabbing and inspection.
- Support and promote the PMS culture across the site, analysing data accordingly including the 3 hour SIC meeting.
- Conduct site walk arounds and assistance with dynamic risk assessments.
- Promote and embed the Muller safety culture through the use of STAR cards and conduct safety sweeps and fully support all accident / incident investigations.
- Drive Operational Excellence improvement opportunities and take action to implement including ways to reduce costs and improve turnaround time.
- Responsible for basic repairs and maintenance on a “self-help” basis in relation to the software and vehicle management (such as the pumping equipment and valve checks)
- Ability to step across and drive when required including shunting on site.
- Responsible for cream loading / movements.
- Ensure yard cleanliness is maintained as well as general housekeeping in yard.
- Aware of escalation process and follows process when required.
- Build a thorough understanding of all work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ensure they are adhered to.
- Displays and promotes MMI behaviours
- Engages positively with all colleagues / departments, building strong relationships.
- Candidates must hold a valid C+E HGV Driving Licence in order to move all Vehicles on the Yard.

This role will be for a 6 month fixed term contract.
The role will be working a 6 on 2 off shift pattern.
The shifts will involve working 15:30
- 01:30.
