We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant in Integrated Sexual Health to join our busy team at the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS trust.
Applications are invited for all appropriately qualified doctors for a full time post of 10 sessions per week inclusive of one evening session per week and joining the service 1:3.5 weekend on-call rota for the sexual health clinic undertaken over the phone, and will be principally based in the community at the Town Clinic in Enfield.
The post holder will be expected to have broad experience in all aspects of contraception and especially long-acting contraception provision and Genito-Urinary Medicine. The role involves leading on contraception, providing a complex contraception service, doing level-3 GUM clinic and providing supervision, training and support to the multi-disciplinary team, junior doctors and the nursing staff.
The successful candidate will help to develop the integrated Sexual Health Services in line with National Strategy for Sexual Health and Contraception. The post holder will be expected to help lead on innovation of service change designed to achieve local and national targets and also lead on the Sexual and Reproductive Health training for the team as well as local GPs. He/she will also be expected to participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and management of the service.

1. Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register via one of the following:
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) (the proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview)
• Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
1. European Community Rights Full UK GMC Registration
