Ebor Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust serving children aged 2 to 16. It is our aspiration to develop geographical hubs of schools that share our values and we have already made significant strides in achieving this aim.
Marfleet Primary Academy are looking for a part time Administrator / Receptionist to join our team.  You will be working closely with our Senior Administrator and School Business Partner to provide efficient school administration, contributing to the successful running of our school.
This role will be temporary until December 2020 in the first instance. The successful applicant will be responsible for reception duties, telephone, clerical, typing, and other routine services, within the administration department of the school and to monitor absences on a daily basis in a timely fashion.
As you are the first point of contact for visitors to the school, you will promote a friendly, inviting and professional environment.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a busy reception, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will need to be computer literate and have experience of working in an administrative capacity. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including with young children.
Strong time management and organisational skills are also essential for this role as well as the ability to work on your own initiative.
It is essential that the candidate has the knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
