Summary

Job Title: Site Agent

Location: Wessex- ideally those travelling from Woking, Crawley, Guildford and Basingstoke.

Start date: ASAP

Rate / Salary: £300-£310 per day (contract) or £60k-£65k (perm)

Duration: Initial 3 Month contract with a view to extend.

Company information: My multi-award winning client are an experienced principal contractor for Network Rail who have a number of partner arrangements with Tier 1 contractors to deliver complex jobs throughout the whole of Rail thanks to their expert knowledge and experience.

Project Information: The client requires a Site Agent within the Rail sector to set up and appropriately manage engineering projects throughout Wessex from start to finish.

Essential experience:
Experience of working with large multi-discipline infrastructure projects within Rail or civil environment
Experience of working on a variety of projects as project leader on some with experience of dealing directly with clients
Experience of managing project teams
Awareness of the role of CEM and CRE according to Network Rails Standard NR/L2/INI/02009 Engineering Management for Projects .
Experience of significant project and design management
Understanding of Health and Safety including CDM Preferred Qualifications** • BSc, BEng or MEng degree in a relevant discipline
Chartered Engineer and member of a professional institution

Desirable experience:
Certified project management qualification with a recognized project management institute such as APM or PMI would be an advantage

Role Details:
Drafting Agreements and monitoring their execution; Appointing and managing sub consultants in accordance with company procedures;
Establishing and implementing the CPP and WPP’s;
Establishing and maintaining forecasts, costs and revenue budgets;
Establishing and managing project team interfaces;
All communications with Client representatives for the project;
Producing, checking and verifying all deliverables;
Managing and documenting all scope changes and other variations;
Implementing and monitoring the 3 weekly program in line with the baseline program;
