The SW Supplies and Equipment Cell has been created in response to the COVID-19 incident with a multi-disciplinary team working to support providers across health and social care to provide for staff and patients in delivering care across communities and through the seven SW systems.

As the Supplies Cell Lead Support, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team of six people in delivering an effective service across the SW and in collaboration with the national provision of supplies. The role will require the postholder to be flexible in tasks undertaken with the aim to meet the three short term objectives of the Supplies Cell:

1. Continue to support the provision of supplies in response to the incident, Phase 3 plans and in the context of winter pressures

2. Support the supplies in provision for the vaccination programmes

3. Support the supplies plans and mitigations in preparation for EU Exit on 31/12/2020

The post holder will haveproven and significant leadership experience and/or formal management qualification, evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development and highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate on highly complex matters and difficult situations.

The reason for this fixed term contract is that the post is a short-term time limited project.
