Our L&D Team define and deliver a great learning experience from induction through to ongoing support within the business. We ensure all learners have the tools they need to offer our customers the best service they can whilst also meeting all service and quality standards
Purpose of role
To support the Training manager in the day to day running of the training team, including the management of trainers activity.
Define and deliver training needs for our contact centres, business and specialist areas across all brands and sites as required. The role is key in the development of individuals and teams to meet priority business needs and key performance indicators, within budgetary, risk and compliance guidelines.
The role will also support other business areas as required, both with colleague learning and business projects.
What will you be responsible for:
Induction training for new colleagues to ensure they are prepared to effectively contribute to the overall business operation by writing profitable, compliant and quality business as well as delivering high quality customer service.
The ability to deliver training on various platforms including face to face and virtually
Support Team Managers to develop their people skills to be able to coach and develop their teams on the job
Ensure learning interventions are fit for purpose, kept up to date and delivered in a blended approach to take account of different learning styles.
Support the implementation of new organisational initiatives through delivery of learning interventions, where new skills, knowledge or ways of operating are required.
To support and deliver training across the Atlanta group – expectation to travel in line with requirements.
Ensure a standardised approach to training across all parts of the business wherever possible, ensuring consistency of approach and quality.
Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of training and development, for longer term business impact highlighting ROI at every opportunity.
Assisting in researching best practice and the 'pooling' of suggestions and ideas to continuously improve training and development. This should be both within our business as well as best practice within the generic training industry.
Design, deliver and evaluate development initiatives and interventions to ensure colleagues have the skills and knowledge they need and are equipped to meet immediate and future needs of the organisation.
To coach and support on the floor to develop live skills. To support Commercial & Specialist areas with sales coaching and training to improve performance.
Review and update training material with current policies and procedures as required.
To spend time in the operation taking calls to demonstrate your own knowledge and keep skills fresh.
Maintain all records of attendees Maintain all session records on My Learning and recording of CPD training hours
Provide MI to the training manager as required (Group Attrition, QA Results, Sickness/Absence etc)
Work with the Training Manager to coordinate all training interventions including the planning of resource and facilities.
Ensure all training content is up to date and version controlled Ensure the team are working to achieve the L&D ‘one’ team Objectives Promote a culture of Learning and Development Working to undertake Training Needs Analysis across the organisation Ensure that all training is delivered and maintained in such a way that ensures compliance with the T&C framework
Handle the Day to day queries from the training team and escalate to the training manager as required.
Complete monthly 121’s with the training team Take the lead on projects assigned by the training manager
Ideally, specific coaching/training and/or Contact centre, sales experience within fast paced environments.
Experience of large group delivery Management of delegates including absence, performance and probation reviews.
Experience of delivering coaching/training in a target driven environment Training design & delivery (minimum 5 years) Business/Commercial experience A good standard of education, from GCSE level (or equivalent) or above, including English and Maths.
CIPD qualification in Training Practice or above
Additional professional learning qualifications, e.g. CIPD, ILM
