As Senior Global Bid Manager, you will coordinate and prepare the answer to global Requests For Proposals (RFP’s) and Request For Information (RFI’s), to:
Gather content and organise the drafting / story flow of proposal and pitch deck in line with the tender requirements and prospect strategic scope, ),
(re-)write and visualize gathered diverse information enabling the development and compilation of a customer oriented, creative and compelling answer to global RFP’s and RFI’s,
Secure a seamless tender reply organisation and governance to reach the diverse milestones and to ensure a timely delivery of the materials,
Support regional and country based sales and marketing teams in the development of their offers by coaching/advising on tender process and content creation.
You will work transversally with HQ / regional and external outsourcing partners to ensure a successful completion of global and large regional tenders bid proposals. You will play a critical part of the firm’s RFP process and you will work in partnership with Sales Representatives, Value Proposition and Product Specialists, Underwriters, Operations, Finance, Innovation, Distribution, IT staff and others.
RFP offer and pitch project management coordination and governance
Manage a structured, organised answer process to RFP/RFI. Set up project governance and all related meetings with all involved departments and ensure timely delivery of milestones
Report frequently on progress and pain points to the RFP project stakeholders / top management and be persistent in RFP stakeholders’ contribution
Build a ‘on-call’ dedicated RFP taskforce that fits the tender requirements and kick off tender project
Organise post mortem RFP session to distil best practices and improve the answer process efficiency
Share best of class RFP content, information and knowledge to regional and local RFP teams and guide where needed.
Steering RFP taskforce
Gather content and challenge received content related to tender requirement to prepare a specific commercial offer. Value the content delivery and support synthetic summary creation
Follow up closely content delivery, report on status and have 121’s with stakeholders to support where needed
Organise pitch rehearsals and practically organise the pitch meeting.
Writing and designing creative Commercial Offer and Pitch
Coordinate and prepare commercial offer by analysing together with responsible sales the RFP, RFI and clients’ strategy to define Offer storyline and content building blocks
Collect answer material from diverse stakeholders and from dedicated RFP content library and transform/rewrite/design into manageable, compelling and customer oriented content that convinces the buyer to purchase
Work closely with Sales teams and collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization to create tailored, differentiated, well-positioned responses that are brought forward in a customer oriented way
Produce and design offer proposal and oral pitch PPT deck that is visually pleasing, creatively stands out and that represents AXA Partners identity and dynamism
Brief and manage outsourced design agencies for the creation of compelling RFP collaterals in close cooperation with Content Managers
Proof read offers and pitches and edit or recommend adaptations.
