Summary

A Vacancy at NHS England and NHS Improvement.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who can embody the principles of compassionate leadership. The successful candidate will have a background of promoting compassionate ways of working in the health and social care sector. We will be looking to the post holder to develop a strategy to have the widest possible impact on staff and service users across mental health services in the Midlands region. This work aligns with the values of the NHS England and NHS Improvement Midlands region, and with the recently published NHS People Plan, and we will need to work with a wide range of senior stakeholders to make our vision a reality. The successful candidate will have to bring together two particular areas of expertise; the ability to negotiate and influence at a senior system level, and the ability to inspire and motivate front line teams (for example through the facilitation of compassion circles and reflective practice groups).

Please note that the reason for the fixed term of this contract is due to it being a short-term time limited project.
