Summary

Further Information: A calm, caring and gentle PA is required to support a young man with high functioning autism who is highly intelligent. The ideal PA would have previous experience of working with autistic people and have some form of training and education that gives then an insight into the issues of that impact on autistic people with social anxiety. The role of the PA will be to encourage this young man to socialise more by going for walks, biking, going to the cinema, accompanying him to the local autistic centre and other places as the young man develops more confidence in self-advocacy. You will need a calming manner and engage at a pace that suits this young man. Further information will be discussed at the interview. You will have a strongly developed sense of social justice in supporting the inclusion of disable people in their local community.
