Further information:

2 PA’s are required to support two brothers, aged 12 and 13, living in the HU4 area of the City.

Your role will be to support their mother when the boys arrive home from school, and at home generally. You will also support the boys in undertaking activities such as soft play. Whilst one of the boys likes to go out, his brother is more reclusive and requires persuasion. One of the boys attends swimming on a Friday evening, and his PA will be required to interact with him in the water and ensure his safety at all times.

Support is required at the following times:-

Monday – 1 x PA 3.30pm - 7.30 pm - assisting Mum when boys arrive home from school and going to a social club/soft play
Wednesday – 1 x PA 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm- - assisting Mum when boys arrive home from school and assisting in the home
Thursday 2 x PAs 6 – 9 pm - assisting Mum with the boys at home
Friday 2 x PA s 7 – 9 pm - swimming - PA required to interact with him in the water and ensure his safety
Saturdays 2 x PAs 11.30 - 2pm – activities

Additional hours may be available during the school holidays

You should have experience in communicating with non - verbal children, who also display challenging behaviour. You will be aware that the boys have no concept of danger, and you will ensure that their health and safety are of paramount importance at all times.

Car Driver and non- smoker preferred

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.
