Summary
Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer - South East London - to £36k + Overtime and door to door payments
Our client is a specialist air conditioning and refrigeration company with a nationwide coverage and due to contract awards are looking to expand the team in the South East London/Dartford area.
The successful applicant will provide planned and reactive maintenance to various Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems in a range of commercial and retail environments.
You will need to be F-Gas qualified and have relevant qualifications such as NVQ level 2. You will also need specific VRV/VRF & Splits experience. Day to day role will mostly be reactive and PPM but from time to time you may be required to change pumps or pressurisation units etc.
Experience of the following is required:
Heat Pumps
Fan Coil Units
Refrigeration process
Refrigeration systems and components
System Charging
Leak detection
Repairing leaks
Pumping down procedures
Compressor efficiency test
Setting pressure switch
Welding and brazing
Defrost methods
Piping
Fault finding
Small to medium sized commercial refrigeration units
Additional experience with Chillers, down flow chilled water systems, close control in Data Centre environments beneficial but not essential.
Package/Benefits
Basic salary up to £36k and with overtime and door to door payments, engineers can earn well in excess of £40 to £50k. This includes overtime and on call and door to door payments. Company Van, mobile phone, pension scheme, life insurance, Fuel card, ongoing training, 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
