English and maths are thriving subjects within the college and this is an exciting opportunity for a Head of English and Maths to support our journey to outstanding across Luminate FE colleges. As the Head of English and Maths you will provide visionary and creative leadership in driving the English and maths strategy across the college, enabling high expectations and aspirations for our students. Candidates should have substantial teaching experience and knowledge of English and maths curriculum design and pedagogy used to ensure maximum impact in improving student outcomes You will have experience of successful staff management and the ability to lead and develop a central English and maths team, supporting their development, managing their performance to sustain standards of excellence and improve outcomes for learners. This is an exciting time for English and maths supporting and inspiring students to achieve their ambitions. It is intended that interviews will take place at the end of August.
