The role

As an Applications Module Lead, you’ll deliver the design, configuration, testing and launch of a specific Hive module. It’s a wide-ranging, key strategic role that draws on project management skills, technical expertise, stakeholder management and clinical knowledge. As you coordinate and lead on your module’s work, you’ll report to a Workstream Lead and collaborate with other analysts to make sure we’re implementing our software consistently and effectively.

You’ll also be an ambassador for the Hive project and a key driver of our digital strategy. It’s a chance to take on considerable responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute towards guidance and standards across the Hive a whole. As part of your EPR training, you’ll also receive recognised qualifications in an application module.

Required skills and experience

We’re looking for candidates with clinical or operational experience in the NHS. You’ll be a talented communicator an exceptional project manager who can confidently oversee complex initiatives and make complicated issues easy to understand.

You should also have experience in analysing business and technical requirements or even training in Epic software. Strong leadership skills, IT literacy and a keen sense of strategy are also essential.

You’ll also need a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred, but not essential.
