Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the Early Intervention Team within the Specialist Services Division of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The post-holder will be based within the Early Intervention Team within Rochdale, an integrated multi-professional health and social care team.

This post offers the opportunity to provide highly specialised clinical psychology services to adults and young people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness who have highly complex psychological needs. The post-holder will require at least two years post-qualification experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist, and experience of working with adults and young people with mental illness.

The role will involve delivering multi-dimensional psychological assessments, risk assessments, formulations and a range of psychological interventions and therapy. The post-holder will be instrumental in supporting the development of a psychologically-minded workforce delivering specialist health and social care to adults and young people will mental illness, hence will require expertise in delivering psychological consultancy, training and clinical supervision. Good leadership and multi-disciplinary team skills are essential, as the post-holder will be taking a lead Clinical Psychology role within the Rochdale Early Intervention Team, under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist within the directorate.
