Summary

Are you interested in education and training and would like an opportunity to join the clinical skills team within Professional Development? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Clinical Skills Team with a role that entails working on a variety of existing and new programmes which are taught across acute and community settings. Examples include: venous access skills, essential learning, syringe driver training and preceptorship programmes. There will also be a need to sign off competencies in relating to educational delivery in the clinical areas.

Working with educational and service colleagues you will preferably have experience of clinical teaching but more importantly an interest in training/education and be willing to work alongside others in a positive and encouraging way. You will play a key role in developing the clinical skills required for our workforce for the future.

The Professional Development team are located in the innovative and award nominated Research, Innovation, Learning and Development (RILD) building in Exeter which provides state of the art facilities for healthcare education and clinical research putting it at the front of worldwide healthcare innovation. This post will be supporting staff across the whole of the RD&E geographical area.
