A vacant post Medical Equipment Training Assistant is now available working with Medical Equipment Resource Centre (MERC) which is one of the services provided by Medical Equipment Management Services (MEMS) to the Trust.
MERC is at the main hospital site and acts as the link with clients seeking repairs to equipment. The Centre also provides the Equipment Library function and houses the Trust's Medical Equipment Training office which provides/facilitates for appropriate training for all clinical staff in the Trust on medical equipment.
The Medical Equipment Resource Centre at Denmark Hill is looking for a friendly, hardworking individual, with good communication skills to join the team. The individual is responsible to initiate and coordinate training for clinical staff across the Trust on Medical devices. The post holder will keep records of training episodes and maintain an up to date database of training that has been undertaken for all of the Trust staff and provide detailed reports to be compiled to be circulated Trust wide.
We are looking for an individual to join our team who is organised, has attention to detail, good interpersonal, communication skills, and is proactive in their approach to work. The successful candidate must be computer literate having advanced knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge and/or experience of Medical Equipment training, using training database and Medical Equipment Management database is desirable. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the constantly changing demands of a very busy service.
