Internal Communications Officer

Would you like to work at the heart of the London Ambulance Service, making sure that our people are engaged and informed and help to celebrate their success?

Are you an experienced internal communications professional, who can cope well with multiple priorities in a busy but fun environment? Can you write content, run events, and work with colleagues in the wider communications team to coordinate social media and media interest in the work of the London Ambulance Service.

We’re looking for Internal Communications Officers in the Internal Communications team. You’ll play a lead role in ensuring that our people are engaged and involved in the Trust’s vision, strategy and objectives.

You’ll support the team by writing content, working with stakeholders to turn communications plans into actions, writing great content, making short videos and publishing content on our intranet platform and our internal Facebook channel. You’ll help organise the CEO roadshows and senior manager events, and work on delivering effective campaigns across all areas of the business.

You’ll also help develop our channels, improving our email broadcasts, printed matter and digital information screens.

You need to be able to write good quality stories, be comfortable with multiple priorities in a busy environment, be happy to pick up a phone to film content, and post on social media. You will have worked in a communications environment, and preferably have experience of working in the NHS.
