Summary

Corrosion Technology Services Europe Limited is part of a global group of companies who specialise in supporting the oil and Gas & Construction industries with respect to external Corrosion.

Our niche market industry in known as the “Cathodic Protection” industry.

Applications are invited from Cathodic Protection Engineers with + 6 years proven ability to work in the corrosion industry and a strong bias to the Cathodic Protection industry on a global basis.

Duties include
Comply with all company policies, health and safety regulations and quality management system.
Review pricing, scheduling, and personnel commitments for engineering proposals.
Prepare engineering proposals requiring specialised skills or data interpretation.
Provide specifications for materials and monitoring.
Organise, schedule, and assign staff to projects to obtain the most effective utilisation of resources and to meet client commitments.
Manage project activities to successful completion.
Meet with management and accounts bi weekly to track projects/jobs to ensure profitability.
Visit job sites as required to provide technical guidance and supervision to Engineering staff, ensure satisfactory progress and good client relations.
Write / Review and edit reports, preliminary data and proposals with engineering staff; discuss objectives, specify expectations, and suggest appropriate methods and procedures.
Interact with clients on technical issues requiring specialised skills or data interpretation.
Monitor engineering aspects of system installations and resolve technical difficulties.
Prepare survey, monitoring and commissioning reports.
Prepare information for invoicing as required.
Assist in the collection of outstanding debts from Engineering clients.
Perform economic evaluations of alternative methods of cathodic protection and corrosion control.
Train and evaluate Engineering staff in the application of general engineering principles, design concepts, survey techniques, and analytical reporting.
Read technical journals, attend meetings and conferences to keep up to date with developments in corrosion control.
Other duties as assigned.
