Summary

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants for an exciting opportunity in Broadway, Derby.

Join our team of professional and friendly care assistants in helping residents to live full, healthy and happy lives by delivering front-line care, support and companionship.

You will use your knowledge and experience to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package. You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers and assisting them with the smooth day to day running of the shift. As of all aspects of Care you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties and personal care, you will also be required to complete paperwork accurately and in detail and report accordingly.

Minimum requirements for Care Assistants are:

• Safeguarding training within 1 year
• Infection Control within 1 year
• Moving and Handling training within 1 year
• A DBS check for adults services dated within the last 12 months preferably on the update service
• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment

QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.


This is a full-time, ongoing role with potential for a permanent position.

Working times will be from 07:00 to 14:00, with shifts available throughout the week and weekend.

The rate of pay for this role will be £8.50 with uplifts for weekend work.
